Meet the panelist

Chris Smith, CEO, Big Esports

With eleven years’ experience
in gaming, esports & technology, Chris is the founder & director of BIG Esports. Chris’ experience is wide-ranging, coming from his history in semi- professional play, community
and national event coordination, game commentary, community management, business development, consultancy and PR and marketing across esports, gaming, influencers, and enthusiast technology. Past & present clients include Fox Sports, HOYTS, JBHIFI, NVIDIA, ASUS, Intel, AMD

Kate Illsley, Senior Recruitment Consultant, Method Recruitment

Kate is a Senior Recruitment Consultant, specialising in IT. Kate has worked with Startups, SMEs, corporates and consulting companies and keeps on top of current IT trends by running hackathons, webinars and speaking at conferences. Kate runs the VIC ICT for Women Grad Girl program and has a passion for guiding graduates and career changers into their new tech career.

Nicci Rossouw, CEO, Exaptec

Nicci is the CEO of Exaptec, a start- up company she founded in 2015 to provide service robotics solutions to the Australian market. Noted as one of six women who “rock” robotics in Australia, and a regular speaker at events, Nicci is a passionate educator of how robots can augment your life for the better.

Jennifer Rebeiro, CIO, City West Water

Jennifer is the Chief Information Officer at City West Water. Jennifer has led teams across a wide
range of industries and functions, challenging and transforming each one to respond to the evolving business environment and changing community expectations. Jennifer was named as one of the Top 50 CIOs in Australia in 2020.

Karthik Sukumar, Cloud Strategist, Oracle

Karthik works as a Cloud Strategist at Oracle helping customers leverage the power of AI and Autonomous Cloud. Karthik is passionate about the world of PaaS, SaaS, and emerging technology such as hybrid cloud and AI-driven autonomous computing that will make profound changes to the way future services will work. He has published articles in Cloud related journals and ICT magazines and presented at conferences and forums as an expert panel member.

Michael Stoddard, Director of Strategic Business Development APAC, ADOBE

Michael has been part of Adobe’s engagement with the Asia Pacific design industry for over twenty years. He has had many and varied roles over that time – from evangelising new design technologies for individual creatives, to advising multinational brands on their digital transformation.
