Welcome to the Moving Pictures film launch, hosted by the National Ageing Research Institute.
Moving Pictures is an innovative multi-media project that aims to raise dementia awareness in Australia's culturally and linguistically diverse communities. This study has been funded since 2017 by the Commonwealth Department of Health and Aged Care.
Professor Bianca Brijnath
Professor Bianca Brijnath leads the Moving Pictures studies in Australia and India. She is the Director of Social Gerontology at NARI. She is trained in medical anthropology and public health and her research expertise is in cultural diversity, dementia, and mental health.
Dr Josefine Antoniades
Dr Josefine Antoniades is a Research Fellow at NARI and Project Manager on the Moving Pictures project. Her disciplinary expertise is at the nexus of psychology, public health and primary care. Framed by these disciplinary boundaries, her research interests include dementia, mental health and health literacy in culturally and linguistically diverse communities.
