Enterprise Professor Sandra Milligan

Enterprise Professor Sandra Milligan is the Director of the Assessment Research Centre (ARC). Her most recent award-winning research examined opportunities for use of ‘big data’ and developmental assessment approaches on digital learning platforms, to support assessment of higher-order learning skills.

Jayne Johnston

Jayne Johnston is Principal Fellow and Professional Education Specialist at the Assessment Research Centre (ARC) and is engaged in a range of national and international projects in the areas of competency-based education, assessment of general capabilities and new designs for schooling and micro-credentialing.

Professor Richard James

Richard James is a former Pro Vice-Chancellor (Academic) and Director of the Melbourne Centre for the Study of Higher Education. He holds a chair in higher education and his research interests include access and participation, the quality of the student experience, quality assurance and standards, and post-compulsory education choices. Richard has authored numerous research reports of national significance in Australian higher education. He has a number of key national advisory roles, including membership of the Higher Education Standards Panel and the Quality Indicators for Learning and Teaching Advisory Group.

Lynne Davie

Lynn Davie has extensive experience in supporting and driving innovation in learning and teaching, as a teacher, school leader, curriculum consultant, university lecturer, author and senior public servant. Lynn is also currently an Honorary Fellow at The University of Melbourne.
