Meet our Speakers
Alexandra Gartmann
Group Executive Partnerships, Marketing and Corporate Affairs & CEO Rural Bank. BSc(REM), MAICD
Alexandra joined Bendigo and Adelaide Bank Group in October 2015 as Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer for Rural Bank, having been a member of the Board since November 2014. From July 2019, Alexandra is also responsible for the Group’s Partnerships, Marketing, Corporate Affairs and Climate Risk.
Felicia Mariani
Chief Executive, Victoria Tourism Industry Council
Felicia leads Victoria’s peak body for the tourism and events industry. She has held senior management roles in Tourism Victoria and Tourism NSW, is a former CEO of Tourism Tasmania, and was Managing Director of the Australian Tourism Export Council. Felicia is passionate about the power of tourism and events to drive regional economies.
Michel Masson
Chief Executive Officer, Infrastructure Victoria
In 2016, Michel joined Infrastructure Victoria as the inaugural CEO. He was previously CEO of Yarra Trams and helped lead the development of Keolis Downer throughout Australia. Prior to this, Michel led public transport operations in seven countries as head of Finance and Operations for Keolis’ International Division.
Chris Eddy
Consultant, Local Government Administrator, Presenter, Podcaster
Chris Eddy has a broad range of local government and media experience, including his current appointment as Administrator at the City of Whittlesea.
He is a former Council CEO, and has held interim CEO roles at LGPro and LeadWest. Chris is an independent member of Council audit and risk committees, a member of the Alpine Coordinating Council, and consults to councils on CEO performance management processes.
He also presents the twice-weekly podcast, Local Government News Roundup, and the VLGA Connect series of interviews and panel discussions.
